Rich chocolate, a hint of sea salt, and the smooth caramel flavour of Clean Lean Protein come together in these bite-sized treats.

Ingredients:

Brownie Balls

  • 2.5 scoops Nuzest Clean Lean Protein Salted Caramel
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1.5 tbsp oat flour*
  • 90–100ml almond milk
  • 1/3 tsp Celtic sea salt
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup melted sugar-free dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts of your choice

Method:

  1. Add the Clean Lean Protein, cacao powder, peanut butter, oat flour, almond milk, sea salt and maple syrup to a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir until a smooth dough forms. The mixture should hold together easily and be firm enough to roll into balls. If needed, add a little extra almond milk or oat flour to adjust the consistency.
  3. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and roll into balls.
  4. Place on a lined tray or plate and freeze for 35 minutes to firm.
  5. Dip each ball into the melted dark chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
  6. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts while the chocolate is still soft.
  7. Return to the freezer for a further 5 minutes, or until the chocolate coating has set.
